Sports Therapist BSc (Hons)
Member of the Society of Sports Therapists
Naomi is a Sports Therapist with a BSc (Hons) in Sports and Exercise Therapy from Coventry University. She has developed broad experience across clinical practice and elite sport, working with athletes in football, rugby, combat sports, and individual disciplines. Her career includes roles with Aston Villa FC’s Girls Academy, Bedworth Active Health Clinic, and the Body Recovering Zone Clinic.
Naomi has supported baseline testing for Birmingham City FC’s First Team (Men’s) and worked alongside UFC fighter Melissa Mullins and PFL athlete Fabian Edwards in physiological profiling and strength and conditioning environments. She has also provided sports therapy and pitch-side support for rugby teams such as Old Leamingtonians RFC, as well as national and international tournaments including the Kabaddi World Cup and SYUK Football Tournament.
At Bedworth Active Health Clinic, Naomi focuses on injury prevention, assessment, nutritional advice and rehabilitation, using a blend of manual therapy, exercise prescription, and electrotherapy. She takes a holistic approach to every case, aiming to understand the person behind the injury and restore full confidence in movement. As she puts it, “Talk to the patient, not just the injury.”
Outside the clinic, Naomi trains in Muay Thai and long-distance running, and is currently preparing for a half marathon. Her own sporting background gives her real insight into the physical and mental demands of performance and recovery, which shapes the way she works with every client.
